The continued persecution of protected natives in Morocco is becoming .serious. The Legations are flooded with complaints. Acting apparently under •rthe Maghzen’s orders, the governors are seizing cattle and property belong- - ing to protected natives or their European protectors. The Sultan gives the diplomatists procrastinating answers to their complaints.
