TWO AMERICANS EXECUTED

Two Americans caught serving with the revolutionary forces were executed by Zelaya despite a consular appeal for commutation of the sentence. The gun-boat Vicksburg is in consequence hastening to Corinto, and the cruiser Desmoines to Port Limon. The executed Americans were charged with placing dynamite mines in an attempt to explode Government steamers laden with 1 troops at Greytown, Nicaragua. The State Department Washington, demanded a full and complete explanation.
