PATHE PICTURES

There was a good attendance at the Theatre last evening to witness the current programme of the Pathe Picture Company, and the applause to the pictures was loud and frequent. The industrial picture, “Cotton. Industry in the South,” showing the cotton through every process from the fields to the mill, was one of the best pictures of its class seen here, and should prove a great attraction. Other pictures of exceptional interest were ‘‘The Moonstruck Toreador.” “The. Crisis in Turkey,” “Wearv Willie at the Carnival.” and “Salome Mad,” while the remainder were of ki"h merit. The game series will be shown again this evening for the last time, and to-morrow night the new programme will include the following star pictures: “The Melbourne Cup Race, 1909.” giving a fine representation of tho exciting victory of Prince Foote, “The Rheims Aviation Contests,” the most comprehensive film vet obtained portraying the conquest of the air. Next comes a series of “Kenilworth,” depicting realistically the old historical castle, amid all the splendor of its Another set showing the “King at Knowsley, should provo popular.
