FREIGHT ON WOOL REDUCED. [Pirn Punas Asbociaticw.l WELLINGTON, Jan. 3. The New Zealand Shinning Company, Federal Honlder, Shire, Tyser, and Shaw-Savill lines liave decided to reduce the freight on wool to three-eighths of a penny for greasy wool, and a halfpenny for scoured. ARRIVAL OF ALLEGED DEFAULTER. "DUNEDIN, Jan. 3. Chief Detective Herbert reached the Bluff this morning, with the ex-corpora-tion official McKenzie, extradited from Perth.
