BIBLE CLASS CONFERENCE.

A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. |Pi:u Pju'.rb Association. I ASHBURTON, Jan. 3. The Now Zealand Presbyterian Bible Class Union’s annual summer conference closed to-night after a most successful series of gatherings, which hav e been spread over seven days. Most of the meetings have been of a devotional character" or in regard to different phases of Bible Class work. On New Year’s Day a largely attended sports gathering was held in the Domain, and to-day a farewell garden party was given. On Sunday there were congregations of 800 in the Oddfellows’ Hall, both morning and evening. A telegram of greeting and good wishes was received from the Premier, and an appropriate reply was sent. It is probable that next year’s conference will be held at Milton.
