Nursery Handicap, 4 furlongs.—Lady Runa 7.5 1, Formless 7.5 2, Sorite 6.10 3. Also started: Kohinoor, Saxifrage, Tribulation, Crown Derby, Songster, and Odessa. Won comfortably by a length, a. fair third. Time, 50sec. N Wellington Cup, 1-J miles—Crucinella 7.12 1, Diabolo- 8.1 2, Husbandman 8.6 3. Also started: All Red, Roosevelt, Ringdove. Downfall, Merrivonia, Waipahu, Paisano, Muskerry, Lady Medallist, Moloch, Kopu, Bollin, Osiris, and Chauvelin. Waipa'kn, with Ringdove and Merrivonia, was well prominent passing the stand. When the back of the, course was reached Waipahu was clear. Osiris being at the head of-tho others. The leaders dropped back before the straight was reached, when Husbandman and Crucinella took charge. The latter lasted long enough to win by a' head from Diabolo, who beat Husbandman in the last few strides. Time, 2inin 34 l-ssee. Trial Plato, 7 furlongs.—Parula 8.0 1, Genius 7.7 2, Ambala 7.4 3.
