DROWNED OFF OIL LAUNCH. [Per Press Association.! BLENHEIM. Jan. 26. A man named Win. Shannon, of Blenheim, was drowned off an oil launch in Queen Charlotte Sound last evening. His body has not been recovered. SWAGGER- FOUND DROWNED. DUNEDIN, Jan. 26. Charles Stirling, a swagger, was found drowned in the harbor this morning. He left a boarding-house in Stafford Street yesterday to go to Ashburton by the first, express. He previously came from Teviot station.
