A CHAIRMAN WISHES TO VETO THE ACTS OF HIS BOARD. FPeii Pt> i'.ss Associ tTinv. I WELLINGTON, Jan. 28. At the meeting of the Wellington College Board of Governors to-day. Mr. A. deß. Brandon refused to accept- reelection as chairman unless he was allowed the power of veto over any expenditure proposed by the Board. In the past, he said, he had had to administer works of which he did not approve. Some members thought that this v a s asking too much, and the election of chan man was adjourned.
