THE VICTORIAN RAILWAY DISASTER.
TWO OFFICIALS SUSPENDED

It is reported that the department lias suspended, pending the official inquiry, the locomotive foreman and fitter at one station on the Stawell line.
The Trades Hall carried a resolution viewing with alarm the increasing number of railway accidents and condemning the Railway Commissioners, whose desire they state, was to show profit, leading to the undermanning of the service.
