SEVERE FROST AT DUNEDIN. [I J ER PRESS ASSOCIATION.! DUNEDIN, June 26. There was a very severe frost last night. A portion of the upper harbor was frozen over for the first time for 15 years. The ice was an inch thick. BETTING ON LICENSED PREMISES. PALMERSTON N./ June 26. At the Magistrate’s Court here this morning John Mouglian was fined £25 each on two charges of betting on licensed premises. BAIL OF £IOO FORFEITED. WESTPORT, June 26. At the Supreme Court, Stanley Ross, on a charge of indecent assault, did not appear . " His recognaisances of £IOO, found by an Auckland solicitor, were ordered to be forfeited.
