NAPIER HOSPITAL.

INQUIRY INTO • MANAGEMENT

(Per Press Association.) NAPIER, Nov. 1. The inquiry by the Hospital Board into the management of the Napier Hospital commenced yesterday, and concluded to-day. Dr. Valintine, In-spector-General, was present at the inquiry, and directed in the first' instance to ascertain the reason for so many, some thirty, resignations of nurses, during the past two years, hut the Board unanimously decided that the management, so- far as the nursing staff was concerned, was satisfactory. Further inquiry is being conducted by Dr. Valintine into the relations between the medical superintendent and the honorary medical staff, which is alleged to be xinsatisfactory.
