COURSE ARCHITECT ARRIVES IN AUCKLAND.
AUCKLAND, Jan. 6
A visitor to Auckland is Dr A. MncKenzie, of Leeds, a prominent golf course architect, who has designed many of the principal courses in England. He has just concluded a tour of Australia, during which he reconstructed most of the leading courses in New South Waleg, Victoria, and South Australia. His first task in New Zealand will he to prepare a new lay-out for the Maungakiekie Golf Club, after which he will undertake similar work in other parts of the Dominion.—P.A.
