ALTERRIBLE DISASTER.
THE BURSTING OF A RESERVOIR. GREAT LOSS OF LIFE. [Special to Reuter’s Agency—Copyright.] (Received August 13,1.30 p.m.) London, Aug. 12. A terrible disaster is reported from Valparaiso. One of the reservoirs in that city burst yesterday, causing immense damage. One hundred houses were swept away and hundreds of people lost their lives.
