WARBRICK AND HIB LAURELS. The Maori footballers defeated the United Service Club at Portsmouth by three goals and a try to nil. Now that the Native footballers have almost completed their tour to the Old Country a list of the matches lost and won will be interesting. At present it is impossible to tell how the team will come out financially. The list is appended;— October 2—v Surrey at Richmond. Won by a goal and a try to a try. October 7—v Northamptonshire at Northampton. Won by two goals and four tries to nothing. October 10—v Kent at Blackheath. Won by a goal and a try to a try. October 12—v Moseley at Birmingham. Lost by two goals to a goal and a try. October 17—v Burton at Burtou-ou-Trcnt. Lost by a goal and a try to a try. October 20—v Midland Counties Union at the Warwickshire County ground, Birmingham. Won by three goals and a try to nothing. October 22—v Middlesex. Lost by two goals and three tries to nothing. October 23— v Hull at Hull. Lost by a try to nothing. October 21—v Dewsbury at Dewsbury. Won by two goals to nothing, October 31 —v Wakefield Trinity at Wakefield. Lost
by a try to nothing. November 3—v Northumberland County at Newcastle. Drawn, one goal each November 4—v Newcastle Miners’ Club. Won by a goal and five tries to a goal and two tries. November s—v Stockton. Won by two goals to a try. November 7—v Borough of Tynemouth at North Shields Won by two go ils and a try to a try. November 9—v Halifax Free Wanderers. Lost by four goals and a try to a goal and a try. November 12—v Newcastle District Club. Won by four goals and two tries to nothing. November 15—v Hartlepool Rovers at Durham. Won by one try to nothing. November 17—v Cumberland County at Maryport. Won by two goals and five tries to two tries. November 20—v Cumberland County. Won by two goals and eight tries to nothing.
