Sir, —Mr Weaver is constantly dinning into our ears his disinterestedness in working as "a volunteer,” that he "had not received any money from the Company for what he has (or has not) been doing for the past seven months.”
Is it not a fact that the Company have been crediting his calls, as against his services ? Is it not a fact that his hotel bills are paid by the South Pacific Petroleum Company ? Is it not a fact that his buggy hire is paid by the same Company 1 I should like this question answered by the local agent; if it is so, and any one will take the trouble to reckon up these amounts, they will find the payments will total over sixty pounds per month since Mr Weaver’s return from America.—l am, etc,, (Un)PaOIFIC SaARRHOLDIia,
