THE LATEST FROM THE HOUSE. [from oub own correspondent.] Wellington, last night. Judge Ward was to-day examined before the Legislative Council Committee at considerable length. The Committee will merely report on the evidence without giving an opinion whether the Ministers or Judge are in the wrong. Government have decided to put the Property Assessment Bill low down on the order paper, and proceed with other business.
