COLLISION BETWEEN SOLDIERS AND_ POLICE. Pabis, October 20.W Things are assuming a serious aspect in France owing to a labor agitation occurring during ths courss of the Exhibition. A strike of ooal miners in the northern part of France iacontinuing to extend, anl io the course of rioting which occurred the assistance of tha soldiers had to be secured. A couple of miners were killed daring th. collision, and aeveral badly wounded. Led by Socialists, a general strike ia ihreatenel iu a large number of lines cf employment, thus making it necessary to olose the Exhibition,
