The south level is now extended a distance of 100 feet, and the whole of the stone, about 7 feet, is taken out. Were this crushed by itself it would certainly give a handsome average return, but as some inferior stone is also taken out and sent to the mill from other portions of the mine, the show on the plates is in proportion.
