Most of tho preliminary works in connection with starting operations at ting mine are completed, a:.d a distance
Df 12 feefchas been driven in the level. Hie ground is at present loose, it being necessary to slab the face to ivoid running, but this will disappear cis soon as the driving gets a bit farther into the solid hill. The total distance to be driven is estimated at about 200 feet.
