Meetings of Dunedin shareholders have been held during the week, but beyond abusing, the locatrdirectbry nothing seems to have been done. In the meantime the local creditors of the Company are pressing and there are no funds in hand to satisfy them. A considerable ' sum is due by the Dutffedifli shafehoiaers r in overdue calls ■ butijhey seeta jcejuctatit to shell out. Matters are, however, likely to be brought to a crisis shortly, as one of the principal' creditors has sued the Company, and should judgment be allowed to go for the claim there will be nothing but compulsory liquidation. The directors to-day forwarded a final appeal to the Dunedin shareholders to stump up, and in default of this, it w,UI be liquidation.
