S.M. COURT.

PALMERSTON—TUESDAY,

(Before Blr A. Greenfield, 5.81.) CIVIL CASES.

Judgment was given for plaintiff, with costs, in tho following undefended civil cases :—Sash & Door Co. v. C. Neilson, claim £13 0s lOd, costs 22s 6d (Blr Fitzherbort); W. E.Pegdon v. W. Vaughan, claim £2 8s 2d, cost? 17s (Blr Guy); | Janet Jack v. R. G. Sadd, claim £33 0s lid, costs £2 14s (Blr Cooke appeared for the plaintiff, and asked for immediate execution, and the order was granted) ; W. Darragh v. John Harper, claim £14 7s 4d, costs 30s 6d (Mr Guy). DEFENDED CASE. A. W. Wheeler v. G. Craw, olaiui £S 10s 7d. Mr limes appeared for the plainfiil j and Blr Bfooro for the defendant. The claim was for alleged damage done to plaintiff's gardon by defendant's pigs, and evidonco as to the amount of damage dono was given by Annie ! Wheeler, wife of the plaintiff, and by plaintiff himself. For tho defence, Blr Blocfo called Robert Joseph Kinnard and defendant, and after hearing tho cv'dence, His Worship nonsuited plaintiff; both parties to pay their own costs.

G. Grahame v. H. Shecrin, claim £'62 14s 8d for wagos. Blr Loughnan appeared for tho plaintiff, and Blr Guy for the defendant, who admitted £14 3s 8d of the claim. Evidenco was given by the plaintiff, and Messrs Cornfoot, Cooksloy and Corkery, while defendant gave evidence on his own behalf, after which judgment was given for £21 0s 2d, with £6 9s fid costs.
