DANCE RECITAL.

Outstanding features of the programme for the dance recital on Monday evening by the pupils of Miss Alackenzie Forbes will he a dainty old time ballet, “Coming Thro’ the Rye,” by the juniors and the “Dolls’ Fancy, ’ a very striking item by the tiny tots. The juniors also appear in “first steps as taught in the class room. Another strong feature will be Highland and national dancing, and the artistic operatic ballet, “Cupid’s Gavotte,’ by the seniors. In the supporting items appear solos, duets and trio dances by prettily dressed performers. For the first time in Palmerston. North the “Jazz Alania” ballet will be introduced. This is a light and Bright item, which should be very popular. Several vocal numbers will be |-endered, amongst which is the song trio, “Sally, Irene and Alary.” Tho programme consists of 30 items, and a hright and interesting entertainment is assured lovers of dancing.
