REMANDED TO AUCKLAND

At the Police Court this afternoon, before Mr W. F. Durward, J.P., Albert Henry Doyle, alias Alfred Doyle, a cook employed at a private hotel in Palmerston North, was charged with failing to maintain his wife, Elizabeth Doyle, of Benedict street, Auckland. On the application of Senior-Ser-geant O’Graay, a remand to Auckland at ten o’clock to-morrow morning was granted.
