TROTTING.
NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 13. At a meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Council Mr J. H. Williams was elected president and Mr H. W. Kitchingham vice-president. In future trotting clubs must state tho classes of all races except classic events before submitting their programmes to the New Zealand Trotting Association for approval. A motion to that effect was passed at a meeting of the board of the association this morning. LIFE DISQUALIFICATIONS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 13. The Trotting Board to-day discussed tho recent ringing-in case and disqualified the horse Bruce for life and the tlireo men concerned —L. Holland, S. Bates and W. Kerr—also for life.
