SINGH BEATS VANCE. Per Press Association. > AUCKLAND, Sept. 16. Hundreds of people were unable to gain admission to the Town Hall tonight when a professional wrestling contest took place between Naranjan Singh (India), 13st o£lb, and Farmer Vance (Canada), 12st lib.. , The Indian won m the fourth round. He secured first fall in the opening round with a body press, and Vance obtained a submission fall in the third round. The finish was disappointing to the large crowd, as in the fourth round the Indian was holding the ropes with Vance tugging hard to pull him away. Suddenly Singh released bis hold of the ropes and fell backwards heavily on Vance, who was knocked out for some time.
