RAILWAY SERVICE.
Yesterday, Mr F. L. Callahan, who has been transferred from the clerical staff of the Palmerston North railway station to a similar position at Dannevirke, was made the recipient of a presentation from his former associates. Messrs R. Nahkies, of Shannon, and F. F. McGovan, of Pukekohe, have been transferred to the Palmerston North station to fill vacancies caused by recent transfers.
