SEVERE SHOCK.

CAR GOES OVER CULVERT. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Sept. 23. Mrs Florence Tootal, a widow, received a severe shock yesterday when the car in which she was travelling went over a culvert. at Horsham Downs. The car skidded in loose shingle and was prevented from falling into a creek by a spare tyre fixed on the gear, which caught in an abutment of tho culvert and kept the car hanging. The other occupants were slightly injured.
