SUPREME COURT.

SESSION NEXT WEEK.

There are three criminal cases for trial at the quarterly session of the Supreme Court at Palmerston North which opens next Tuesday. These include the_ charge of alleged murder against Norman Robert Decke. The hearing of this case is expected to occupy some time. There is one criminal case for sentence.

The civil list is comparatively short. There are seven cases set down for hearing before the Judge, Mr Justice Ostler, alone. There are also three applications in banco, three motions for discharge in bankruptcy and 19 motions for relief under the Mortgagors’ Relief Act, 1931. Three unI* defended petitions in divorce and two Pother motions in divorce complete the ► list of fixtures.
