NELSON v. SOUTH AUCKLAND.

Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Jan. 29. Nelson and South Auckland commenced the Hawke Cup cricket match here to-day, under ideal weather conditions. The wicket and outfield were fast. Cassidy and Winger opened for South Auckland, the runs coming slowly. At the luncheon adjournment South Auckland had scored 157 (or th© loss of four wickets.
