Won by a neck, a head between second and third. Time, 1.57. PHAR LAP IN MEXICO. NEW YORK, Jan. 27. A message from Agua Caliente states that the track is in excellent condition. Phar Lap arrived on the race track today after his two-day motor-van trip from Sail Francisco. There was the usual Customs inspection at the border. Jockey club officials as well as a large crowd were present when the horse waa 'unloaded and taken to the stables, . where extra guards were placed on duty immediately. A load of special feed brought from Australia accompanied the horse.
