GAOL ESCAPEES.
WARDER KNOCKED. SENSELESS
LONDON, Jan. 29. Three prisoners exercising in a gymnastic class at Wakefield gaol eluded notice and scaled a high boundary wall. One was recaptured before ho recovered from the shock of the big drop. Two others knocked a warder senseless and escaped. A flying squad is searching the. West Riding countryside. , ' . . Later. One of the prison escapees was recaptured after a violent struggle. ‘
