FEILDING STOCK SALE.
FAT SHEEP STEADY. BEEF EASIER. An over-supply of fat cattlo resulted in an casing on tho previous week’s rates at tho Foilding salo yesterday. Cows in particular wore in heavy supply, buyers being able to fill their requirements without overdue competition. Fat sheep held their own with last week’s quotations, in somo cases a rise o,f about 6d per head being shown. Tho bulk of tho yarding comprised shorn ewes with a margin of about 53 to 6s between shorn and woolly lines. Store sheep were scarce, the entry comprising a few odd pens of hoggets which sold at unchanged rates. An easier tendency was noticeable in the dairy section, where thore was iTgain a full penning of mixed quality material. Tho annual consignment of purebred P.A. bulls sent forward by Mr F. Krull, of Kimbolton, met with tho usual keen attention, while a further consignment of P.A. bulls from Flock House, those being in under condition, also found tho market wanting supplies, though tho values wero somewhat lower. Store cattle sold at the usual rates. Detailed quotations are as follow: —
