PLUNKET SOCIETY.
CHILDREN’S PARTY. A children’s party arranged by the Feilding branch of the Plunket Society was liekl on Friday afternoon. The ladies responsible for the organisation of the function were Alesdames A. C. AkCorkindalo (president), F. Alason, It. Al. Watson, V. J. Sitehbury, T. Donaldson, J. B. Purcell, H. V. Davies, C. H. Tate, AV. Hulso P. G. Stevens, H. Loiirie, J. Curricle, J. Cantwell, P. Strawbi'idge, A. AlcGrcgor, Alisses G. Christie, 1. Donaldson, B. Green. IJ. Alason and Aliss AYatson (AVellington). The hall was prettily decorated and the programme consisted of dancing, games and competitions, while a bran tub conducted by Alesdames AL J. Stichlmry and T. Donaldson added to the fun. The children paraded in the grand march carrying pictorial paper flags. Aliss Spain provided the music for the dancing, .while June Bowles and oPam Stichhui'y in fancy costumes danced The Irish Washerwoman.
