(From Our OwnXorrespondent.)^ There was an excellent attendance at the weekly practice of the Sandon table tennis Club Winners of buttons for the week were:—A grade, A. E. Matthews ;;B grade, E N. Butler; C grade,‘Keith Lumsden, D grade, Cliffe Bishop. The following will represent the local club for the final o.the B grade, To Kawa Union competitions against Taikorea at Taikorea on dly night :-C. N. Oppatt E. N. Butler, Miss J Butler, T. H. Two teams journeyed to Marton foB a friendly match with the Marhm Club, Sanson proved victorious in both grades, the final scores being: A grade, 34 c ; ±> grade, 34—2. D. McKelvio presided over a good attendance. Apologies were received from Mrs Collier and Mrs Goldfinch. A vote of sympathy was accorded Mrs T. A. Adams in her recent bereavement. A vote of thanks was accorded all who had been of a-ssistance at the Plunket Coronation Ball. The following is the report of the visiting nurse for the throe months ending June: Visitors to rooms, adults, 26; babies, 22; children 10; total, 58. Visits to homes, 19; new babies 2. The secretary (Mrs Adams) reported that the not result of tho ball was £26 Is.
