MATCHES ON SATURDAY.OLD BOYS v. KIA TOA. With both Old Boys and Kia Toa a match in arrears of the others, .these two teams will meet in what promises to be an interesting clash in ■■ the Manawatu Rugby Union’s competitions on the Showgrounds oval on Saturday afternoon, when there will be a keen struggle for supremacy. Old Boys will have the services of Le. Quesne as centre-thrcoquarter, and much'hinges on tho result of tho match, for if Kia Toa succeed, thoy win the second round of the competition. If they lose, Old Boys will bo on terms with St. Patrick's and, if tho match is drawn, Kia Toa will be disputing' the leadership with St. Patrick’s. Meanwhile, Foilding will meet St : Patrick’s at Johnston Park, Foilding, in the first match of tho subsidiary competition, and the gate proceeds will be devoted to tho Feilding Rugby queen carnival fund. , . ... Tho Manawatu junior representatives wil. meet To Kawau at Awahuri at 2 p.m., and the lower grade fixtures will be continued. :
