OLD PUPILS’ ASSOCIATION.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Feeding Agricultural High School Old Pupils’ Association was held last evening, Mr W. A. Carthew (president) presiding over a good attendance. The annual report (previously published) and the balance-sheet, were adopted. The election of officers resulted:—Patron, Mr L. JWild; president. Mr Noel Fitzpatrick; vice-president, Mr R. Wild

(Wellington); treasurer, Air G. Guthrie; secretary, Miss A. Page; committee, town old girls, Miss D. Whisker,.'' 1). Burgess, G. Humphreys, A. Clark; country old girls, Alisses T. A. Alayo and D. Bridgeroan; town old boys, Alessrs Al. Barltrop, S. D. Leitch, G. Fitzpatrick, T. Allen; county old boys, Messrs J. D, Kilgour and D. S. Hart; district representatives, Misses N. Williamson (■Wellington), J. Niall (Wellington), Messrs P. Webster (Rangitikei), P. Thevenard (Kimbolton), W. A. Carthew (Pahiatua), A. A. F. Smith (Otane), S. A. Mclndoe (Marton), and It. Gordon (Taihape). The meteing gave consideration to the curtailing of the roll and recommended to the incoming committee that it should investigate the matter in collaboration with Alessrs L. J. Wild and C. B. McClure. A donation of £1 Is was made to the school prize fund, also a donation of £1 as a nucleus for a' school library building fund. It was decided to change the colour of the blazer to a plain light blue with an Old Pupils’ Association pocket. The incoming committee was instructed to appoint a 6ub-committee to conduct the next annual concert. A vote of thanks was accorded Mr J. Knight for his attendance at the meeting and for his many useful suggestions. A vote of . thanks was also accorded the retiring president, Mr Carthew. Mr and Airs AlcClure were also accorded a vote of thanks. After the meeting a short dance and supper terminated the function.
