Aug. 8. J Mr J. L. Kinsella, of the New Zealand Herald, has been appointed committee reporter m the room of Mr Geo Adams, who is promoted to Hansard staff. Mr. 3pragg, formerly of the Otago Daily Times, j has filled the vacancy On the Hans sard staff caused by the resignation of Mr Drake. At the inquest on' the body of Albert Belliman, found dead on the Ngahauranga line, an open verdict was returned. In the House to-day Sir Julius Yogel had to take tha oath seated m a chair, m which he still has to* wheel himself about. .
