DUNEDIN.

August 6. The New Zealand Refrigerating Company at their annnal {meeting to-day adopted the director's reDort. The chairman's statement showed that the company had been very successful; they had wiped off a mortage of LSOOO during the year, and are now entirely free of debt; they have a storage capacity at the works for 10,000 carcases, and can kill 500 or 600 sheep a day. One or two large shippers spoke dole* fully of the prospects of the trade, as the large charges for frieght, insurance, Sec, leave them but small returns. Other shareholders, how* ever, spoke hopefully, and one said he believed that 6£d or 7d would be realised next year. A delegate was appointed to attend the conference at Christchurch.
