Guide Notes
The local companies of Girl Guides and Boy Scouts are holding a combined Church parade at All Saints’ Church to-morrow morning and it is hoped that Mis 3 McHardy, Divisional Commissioner for Hawke’s Bay, and Miss Joyce Duthie, of Wellington, and other visiting Guiders from tho training camp held this week at Newbury, will also be present. The Ist Palmerston North Ranger Company under their captain, Miss Cranston, have been working hard for some months to raiso funds to purchase colours for the company, and with this object have conducted a trading compaign. Their efforts have boon successful, and tho new colours will be dedb cated by Canon Woodward during the Church parade. This ceremony is of a most impressive nature and will add greatly to tho beauty of the service.
