Manawatu Ladies’ Golf Tournament
RECORD ENTRIES FOR POPULAR FIXTURE DRAW FOR TO-MORROW
With every promise of fine weather, and record entries received, the annual open tournament of the Manawatu Ladies’ Golf Club, which opens at Hokowhitu to-morrow, should be a most interesting fixture. The presence of so many low-handicap players is an added attraction and with tho course in first. - class order the golf should be of a very high standard. Owing to the laTge number of entries thero has been an addition made to the programme of a consolation handicap (match play) to include the third 16 best gross scores. Following is tho draw for the first and second medal, also tho qualifying rounds for the championship, Ekstedt handicap and consolation handicap :
