A. general meeting of the Cricket Club was held on Tuesday night when Mr. A. Anderson presided over a good attend' ance. ft was decided to again enter in the junior competitions at Feilding, the matter of arranging transport being left to Mr. A. Anderson and Mr. 1.. Edwards. These two officials were also given authority to make some ndtessary purchases. General matters of detail for the forthcoming season were discussed. Park Board. A meeting of the Park Board and Cemetery Trustees was held on Tuesday night when Mr. J. H. Perrett presided over a full attendance of members. It was decided that funds would not permit of donations to any local sports bodies, it being considered that any money available should be spent on improvements to the town hall.
