4 „ Washington, Jan. 3. The aviator Bone, has returned from the Pacific He told the press that he had shot better since he had studied deflection shooting last summer preparatory to- taking an instructing assignment. Bong taught his technique to airmen in the Pacific and said they are shooting better. In some instances American pilots have shot down 12 Japanese planes for every one lost Bong’s present score is 40 p l anes shot down.
