Buried Documents. I have the honour to report that, as it has been brought under the notice of the Committee that valuable documents and historical records are buried under the ruins of the Parliamentary Buildings, in what were formerly the cellars, the Committee recommends that the Government take steps to recover the same. 25th August, 1910.

No. 531 (1909).—Petition of Hemi Kuti and Others, of Ngatitoa. Petitioners pray for inquiry re a reserve forming part of Porirua Block. 1 am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry. 25th August, 1910.

Paper No. 68, "Regulations and Rules of Court," issued under the provisions of the Native Land Act, 1909; referred to the Committee on the 6th July, 1910. The Committee has given the paper careful consideration, and I have the honour to report same without amendment. 25th August, 1.910.

• No. 237 (1910).—Petition of H. Matehe and Others, of Waipiro. Petitioners pray for investigation of the boundaries of Waipiro 8 or 2b Block. I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 25th August, 1910.
