No. 108 (1913).— Petition of Meueana Clayton, of Kotorua. Praying for right to appeal to Supreme Court re award by Native Land Court of compensation re part of Pukeroa-Oruawhata Block, taken for the town and suburbs of Rotoniu. I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 10th September, 1913.

I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry. 10th September, 1913.

No. 95 (1913). —Petition of Rawinia Manukau Johnson and Another. PRAYING for a rehearing to enable amendment of succession orders re certain interests in Hamua Block. I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry. 10th September, 1913.

NO. 303 (1913).— Petition of Teone Paina and 34 Others, of Murihiku. Praying that the petition of Taituha Hape and 157 others re Ellesmere Reserve be not granted, and that it be confirmed that the whole Ngaitahu Tribe is interested in the said reserve. I am directed to report that, as the matter is sub judice, the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition. 10th September, 1913.
