No. 388/22.- Petition of Te Hati Pakaroa. Praying for rehearing of partition of Tapuaeroa Ia Block. I am directed to report that the. No. 358/22.—Petition of Wt Duncan and -12 Others. Praying that a grant of land may be made for the use of the Ngamaihi Tribe. I am directed to report that, the Committee is of the opinion that this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration. 30th October, 1922. [Translation.] No. 358/22. Special Report. I have the honour to report that at a meeting of the Native Affairs Committee held on Monday, the 30th October, 1922, the following resolution was unanimously carried : — " That the Committee desires to place upon record its high appreciation of the able and courteous manner in'which the Chairman, Mr. J. A. Young, has conducted the affairs of the Committee, and that, this resolution be recorded in the minutes and reported, to the House." 30th. October, 1922. A. T. Ngata, for the Committee. Special Report.
